C-TEC, Stark State, and Ariel CorporationTraining Program

This program provides development of a Pre-Employment and incumbent worker training system for precision assembly and machining for over 500 incumbent workers and hundreds of potential new hires at the Ariel Corporation, the worldwide manufacturing leader of natural gas compressors. The project involves a partnership with C-TEC ( a University System of Ohio "one year option" Technical Center) and Stark State Community College culminating in stackable credentials from one year certificates to a two year Associate's Degree. The highly successful private/public model involves a training selection system, curriculum development, 24/7 training implementation, and certification assessment.
